Bruce Baker
Owner and Founder
Bruce has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business & Finance from Indiana University. He has served as a Healthcare Administrator from 1971-1986. Bruce is the Former Trustee at the University of Southern Indiana and received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from USI in 2008.
Danielle Hillenbrand
Payroll/Human Resources Director
Dani has 18 years experience working in long-term care. She started out doing direct care as a CNA. She has also worked as a Staff Scheduler, Central Supply, Receptionist, and Accounts Payable Manager all all while being cross trained in HR for years before taking over the department.
Anna Jacobs
Social Services Director
Anna graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Gerontology. She has a background in working with children, families, and the elderly in a variety of settings. Anna enjoys building relationships with the nursing facility residents and advocating to ensure they receive the care they need.
Suzanne Weigel
Co-Owner
Suzanne graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Gerontology and from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Social Work.
She received her Nursing Home Administrators License at Brown County Health and Living Community in 1989, and her LPN license in 2000. She has over 30 years of long-term care experience.
Dee Jackson
Assistant Director of Nursing
Dee graduated from IVY Tech in 2003 with an Associates in Science. She has been a practicing Registered Nurse for 21 years. Dee spent her early years in the Cardiac ICU. The last seven years she's found her passion working in long-term care. Dee has the desire to serve and make a difference in the lives of those she's been charged with caring for!
Kamila Mullis
Activity Director
Kamila graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Health Services with a Long-Term Care Administration Specialty. As a dedicated care provider to older adults for over a decade, Kamila possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to providing meaningful and life-enriching activities to the elderly.
Teresa Hogg
Staff Development Coordinator
Teresa is an LPN who graduated from John A Logan College in 2023. She has over 25 years of long-term care experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Qualified Medication Aid. Theresa graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in 2009 with an Associate of Applied Science in Visual Communications with a specialty in Photography.
Ebony Schweikarth
Receptionist/Central Supply
Ebony enjoys working with people, and her personality and professionalism is unmatched. She never meets a stranger! Ebony began her employement career working as a direct care staff member at the Youth Care Center in Evansville, where she remained for nine years. After moving to Newburgh, she decided to transition into long-term-care. When she began working for Newburgh Healthcare, she was hired as the Manager of Centeral Supply, which she continues to oversee. She has since additionally accepted the position as Receptionist, becoming the "face" of Newburgh Healthcare, where she says her heart is!
Dr. Della Evans, MD, MBA
Medical Director
Dr. Della Evans, MD, is the new Medical Director of Newburgh Healthcare. A graduate of the University of Louisville and a geriatric medicine specialist in Evansville, Dr. Evans brings over 30 years of experience, including service in the Air Force and VA, as well as roles in hospice care and medical education. She previously served as a Medical Director in another long-term care facility, and joined Deaconess in 2017. We look forward to the expertise and fresh perspective she brings to our team!
